My name is Jessica Aldridge and this is my diary of a failing nobody. I'm just a regular woman living a regular life like everybody else; or so it may appear on the surface. Living in the shadow or disability, love, loss, isolation and self-loathing I can only dream of being perfect. I often dream about being the perfect mother and wife to my husband and children yet life is quick to ground me with the other plans it has for me.

With depression and defeat tripping me up at every turn I wonder how I ever survived a year of ups, downs and everything in between.
