Nightingale is a fun poem about a bird singing, and joining along with that joyous song, making a new friend.
Nightingale is written in 12 four-line stanzas. Each pair of stanzas is further divided as its own sub division. I wrote the poem with a structure of alternating lines of seven, then three, syllables. Further, the seven syllable lines are composed of only four words whose first and third word never repeat and whose second and fourth word never change. Punctuation has been omitted purposefully.
