Nocturne

This story is inspired by true events. One summer a newlywed couple gets into a fatal car accident on a bridge. The husband dies. This is where the tale begins. The husband ascends to the realm of eternity and becomes an angel. Angels cannot dream. However, the angel has reoccurring nightmares about the accident. He learns from an archangel that his wife is contemplating ending her life. If his wife succeeds then they will both suffer eternal haunting consequences. The archangel informs the angel of a way he could help his wife. It involves an insomniac poet with a special gift. The angel with the aid of the poet will attempt to save his wife. There is just one other thing. The poets special gift only works at night. And they only have three nights.
