Do I really favour one of my kids?
Many parents and teachers worry that they favour one of their children and most feel guilty about it.
But having favourites is not only natural, it is unavoidable, because people are born with different personality types and those are responsible for how we get along with each other. By getting to know the natural personality type of each of your children or students, you can come to understand what motivates their words and actions and so help ease natural clashes and relieve the guilt.

Based on the Myers-Briggs and Jungian psychological types, this book describes the 16 different human personalities and allows you to quickly discover those of your children (or students) without the need for tests or questionnaires. Simply take in mind one child you know relatively well, begin at the start and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page. Within four to eight pages, you will not only know their “typename”, but have an explanation as to what motivates their behaviour and the answer to questions such as:

Why do I clash with my teenager?
Why can’t I get this child to behave in class?
Why can’t my child make any friends?
I treated all my kids the same, so why does one of them have problems?
Because children DO come with instruction manuals. You just need to know how to read them.
