Ocean got a visit from an extraterrestrial on her ninth birthday, and for many years afterwards. But she always thought it was a dream. Now as a young woman and cinema manager, the real reason for the extraterrestrial's visit is about to turn her world upside down. Her girlfriend Jacinta laughs off her dreams and never takes her seriously. Until Ocean begins having blackouts for no apparent reason. A medical examination reveals nothing unusual, all except the object in her nasal cavity which the doctor wants to remove. Not liking the idea of surgery, she heads to her mother's place in Vincentia on the coast. That night, the extraterrestrial comes for her and takes her to a dark place. She cannot accept that it is real, but will when the police come knocking on her door accusing her of murder. There's one small problem: this all happened in a dream.
