Jim was a twenty years old boy. His house was near a road. That road was not very busy and traffic on that road was not predictable. Jim was able to see the road from his window. His room was not very big however the window was in the direction of road due to which Jim was able to have a clear view of the road.

There was a ground in front of the window. One end of the ground was starting at the house of Jim while the other end was on the road. The ground had fences around it and it was populated in the day time however in the night time there were very few or no people in the ground.

There were few houses in that area and people were familiar with each other. Jim was on holidays from college and he had nothing special to do. One night Jim was alone in his room and playing video games on his computer. Suddenly Jim saw some light on the road.

Jim thought that it could be from a vehicle as some vehicles pass through that road on the night time. But that light was not from a vehicle. That light was flashing and it was getting on and off after some seconds. This was not a routine action and Jim came close to his window to have a clear view.

Jim thought that some person is calling him by using the signal of light. Jim was a brave boy so he decided to go to the light and find out the details. It was late at night and all the members in Jim’s house were sleeping. Jim had a dad and a mom and a brother and a sister.

Jim was the eldest brother then his sister and then his brother. All were sleeping so Jim had to be very careful in order to get out of the house at that time of night. Jim opened the door of his room in order to check the other people in his house. All were sleeping and Jim reached at the exit door in order to reach the light.

When Jim came out of the house then he saw that the light was gone and there was nothing on the road. However Jim planned to go to the place through the ground as he was out of his house.

While Jim was walking to pass the ground and reach at the road then he heard a whistle. That was a familiar whistle from the watch man. There was a watch man who was performing his duty at the time of night in order to make sure that all things are fine.

“Where are you going at this time of night?” The watchman asked Jim.

“I had seen some light on the road and I am going to check the details.”
