UNIQUE LOVE STORY Inspired by True Experiences
ON THE WINGS OF AUTUMN is a pure and simple story with experiences and events taken from the Author’s life. What better basis for an interesting and absorbing novel.
It is a must-read for animal lovers and those who love “love!”
This novel relates to a young woman’s personal journey through life, with powerful lessons on love, relationships, personal growth and healing with both humans and animals. It’s an enlightened story that’s fun, exciting, interesting, sad at times and very honest. The settings are amazing and well- painted from India to Australia, really allowing you to connect with the characters and their lives. The story is heart-warming and unfolds to reveal different kinds of love and how they affect us good and bad: love between lovers and couples; love between humans and animals; love in families; love between friends and most important of all – love of oneself.
ON THE WINGS OF AUTUMN transports you from the lush, idyllic countryside of The Hunter Valley and Canberra in Australia, to the exotic ambiance of Bangalore, India. It's more than the chronicle of one young woman's personal journey through life.
It's the tale of her search for purpose.
Of her quest for unconditional, unlimited love.
Of a uniquely unforgettable romantic triangle.
The final understanding of unconditional love is so beautiful that many readers will
find that they can relate some of these experiences to their own lives.
Stephanie Marie Roberts makes her grand debut with a poignant and passionate novel, inspired by true experiences from her own life.
If you've enjoyed The Notebook, The Lucky One, and Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, you will be captivated by ON THE WINGS OF AUTUMN.
"It is with tears in my eyes that I must tell you I am so very moved. Your depth of emotion is wonderful--what more could anyone ask of a book than that the author gives so much of herself? I could not put it down till the end." --Jenny Richardson, First Wednesday's Book Club
"Thank you Stephanie for the chance to read this wonderful book. I loved it!" --Colleen Brown
"Brilliant, wonderful, uplifting ... thank you, my wonderful teacher of LIFE!" --Louisa Russell
"A must-read for anyone convinced their pets
read their mind, offer comfort during trying times and would
gladly give up their lives to save ours."
Denice Thibodeau Journalist and Editor, Virginia, USA
"ON THE WINGS OF AUTUMN - I like the title. It promises much and delivers it. An interesting and pleasant read.
Romance books are not my choice of reading matter, but it seems to me that this is one of those, with lots of descriptive writing about love and longing, and must appeal to the romantics amongst us. However, there is a good story there, be it fiction or autobiography, with lots of detail about personal and emotional conflict which a lot of us can relate to. The human dependence on pets, particularly dogs, is well described and unusually and refreshingly so. I cannot comment on the spiritualism incorporated in the story as I haven't been able to embrace the medium, but I do believe that there are forces in the Universe which influence our moods and decisions. Well done, Stephanie."-- Ena Willemsen
"I picked up my copy of "On the Wings of Autumn," and thought I would read a few pages before bed. Well I didn't put it down until I finished it the next day.
This story is like a precious package wrapped in leaves of delicate tissue paper. Peeling off the leaves, reveals the beauty of love and hope. There is great grief and loss, tearing the family apart; all hangs in the balance, while Stephanie struggles to find bedrock.
Through it all, a gleaming thread of hope shimmers around the pain and suffering – it kept me reading to the last page."—Cynthia Burgess
“Read your incredible book straight through, couldn't put it down.
You took me where no other book has taken me, through your eyes and writing skills I walked beside you. I could feel every emotion, heartbreak, love, cheekiness, spirituality, despair and the joy when you found your identity.
Your realisation that what you were always searching for, you already had.
What you did for the love of Truman, brought me to tears, as I myself lost my own little dog, I cried and grieved with you.
There were some editing issues but this does not reflect on the Author. Blessings.” -- Margaret Alice Allen J.P. and Editor
