Verse Three of the Metzgerhund Retreat series!
Visions were nothing new to sixteen year old rock keyboardist Billy Mecklenburg. He often ‘saw’ things that offered ideas on which direction to take his band, or ideas that would benefit him personally. Yet, lately, these visions have been coming to him much more frequently.
And, unfortunately, many of the vacationers at Sentry Ridge Summer Park found out about it. Park guests began bombarding him with requests to predict things about their immediate future. He played along, and in some cases just make up answers on the fly.
Except, everything he ‘predicted’ came true.
Which meant the requests got more ridiculous.
Some of Billy’s visions went beyond mere predictions, and he ended up saving a few of his fellow teens from unnecessary suffering by simply suggesting something about their lives they didn’t see themselves.
But, there was one vision that left Billy in confusion. It was about himself. It was about his band. It was about an opportunity at a local youth center that could possibly introduce his band to an entirely new audience.
The part that freaked Billy out was that he requested time off from his park job to seize this opportunity *before* he even had the vision.
But, why did he sabotage his own plans after the vision came true?
And, why was the vision showing him getting removed from the venue?
