Our New Hope

The year is 2071, and Hopi angel Hope White Eagle is dying after childbirth. She begs Deema, her vampire husband, to change her into a vampire so that she can continue her mission of saving her tribe from the white men invaders. The elders aren’t happy about it, but they understand Hope had no choice. However, Dmitrius—the male angel who shows up, claiming to be Hope’s eternal soulmate—disagrees. He tries to take her away from her family and change her into his type of immortal form, instead of letting her remain a vampire. Hope fears she’ll lose her love for and connection to her family, so she refuses again and again. She battles her remembered feelings for Dmitrius and is wracked with guilt over the inevitable choice she’ll have to make—her husband and her immortal children, or the angel with whom she’s spent nearly all of time immemorial. He helps her regain her ancient memories, thus giving her what she needs to defeat their enemies…or so they think.
