"The affirmation that was staring back at her, of what she could hardly abide to be true, was imprinted in a boulder right in front of the eyes. A confirmation that had not quite yet reached her soul, but that was callously blinding her eyes by the tempest that had begun to surge inside of them.
As she desperately scrutinized the gravestone in absolute incredulity and downright horror, she damned to hell all that was revealed to her only a few short breaths ago.
She condemned the haunting words that were engraved on that tomb stone into a kind of hell that she had only just been introduced to, and unwillingly became acquainted with; one that had heartlessly paralyzed and wholly shattered her heart into a million fragmented shards.
It was a kind of anguish she had never known before, or could barely imagine she could feel, and walk away from, leaving her heart in tact.
It had pitilessly spilled over from her heart, and into the very center of the innermost core of her. It had crept up on her like a dormant parasite, and physically debilitated her when she least expected it. It consumed her from the inside out, until she could no longer identify or distinguish between any part of her body that had escaped the severe, brutal and immobilizing torture."
She came home today, to discover that he had found his own kind of exquisite; his very own fairy-tale, and his very precious wonderful.
He had been whispering to his angel at night about new sunrises and brand-new sunsets.

They had spoken about a place where he could see the sun rise again, and where the streets were paved in gold and lined with flowery blossoms.
He had found his delight in the echoing of the moon, in the whispers of the stars, and in the drops of the rain. He had spoken to his angel about finding a place where his soul could rest for a while, and where his heart could love her without distance, and without hurting as much as it had until then.
He asked about taking one final breath over here, and he whispered about taking another first one, over there.
There, where his eyes could once again see through the foggy mists that were blinding him over here. There, where his heart could be unbroken, and where he was no longer breathing simply for her return.
On a cold, dark winter's night, his angel answered him for the very first time. He stood at his bedside, and wiped the warm tears that were escaping from the corners of his eyes. He placed his hand on his cheek, and took pity on Daniel's prolonged suffering.
"Alright …"
