Dockland murders introduces us to a young Patti, shoved in dingy office and given Cold cases to keep her happy. Patti is asked by an elderly gentleman to solve a cop-killing. In Back from Ohandsworth Pat has to contend with a bully as she is forced to take leave after a gun battle ends up with her killing her former partner. On leave she has to try and rescue some bus passengers left stranded as their bus breaks down in the desert heat.
