Pembleton Brooklands 'My Kinda Car'

In 2014 Martin and Deb Cartwright decided to build a car. Not just any old car. It had to be a vintage style sports car and it had to be theirs. Styled, built and then driven by them. It was to be a joint enterprise. Their shared ignorance of automotive engineering was matched only by their determination to learn and to realise their dream. The starting point was the 'Pembleton Brooklands'. Not a pre-built 'kit' for home assembly, but a self-build package developed by engineer Phil Gregory for amateurs, to enable anyone to build a car, constrained only by the limits of their imaginations.
