Phaon and Mariah: Tracing the Past

As Mariah researches Malidri, she discovers so much about her own world that she didn't know. The palace is hidden from frysa by a magical veil of protection, so life in the palace is much more pleasant than it is in the rest of the world. But only a few people in the palace know anything about the dangers that await them at the end of frysa and they must teach the others all there is to know so that they can protect not only themselves, but the whole of Malidri. In between the lessons learned, there is time for play, time for Mariah and Phaon to get to know each other better and time for Lowenhard to come to grips with his health. Once the veil is lifted, Mariah must travel during the most dangerous time for her. Will she survive the journey so that she can speak with the bairgof leader? Or will she succumb to the sickness that plagues all originals?
