Poems and Writings

This collection by Indian born physician, Usha Mahisekar M.D., consists of fifty eight poems and six passages exploring themes such as family, culturalism, medicine, nature and spirituality.  Some pieces are humorous and others bleak but all showcase the author’s humble, astute vision and profound sensitivity. The prose and verse are written by one nearing the end of her days, reflecting upon her blessings and misfortunes, sitting in recognition of the vast gift that life is.   The reader can’t help but feel her sense of gratitude transposed upon them
