Riley Warren's parents have just moved her to the city because her fathers companies have been skyrocketing in fame, and Riley isn't too happy. As she attends a new school, Riley meets Sophie Generson, the popular girl at Forest Hill High, whom Riley befriends. That is until Sophie asks Riley to get her a job working alongside her father, who makes movies and has an agency, and when Riley rejects things take a turn for the worse. Sophie decides to make it her mission to ruin Riley's last year of high school - no matter what. But Riley is ready to fight fire with fire, as she befriends Sophie's old friends, Catherine White, Tiffany Melo, and Sarah Cantos. But Riley soon realizes that getting revenge isn't working, but only making everything worse. She comes up with an idea to bring Sophie and her old friends back together, while also hoping to patch things up with Sophie herself. But Sophie isn't the only one Riley needs to worry about. She also needs to keep a lookout for Lisa Monroe, whose jealousy towards Riley may ruin everything.
