PRAYERS FOR OTHERS It just makes sense to pray for each other. Look around you. There is always someone in need. And there is something that each and every one of us can do to make life a bit easier for another. We just have to try. Begin where you are. That is what I have been doing. Writing prayers on note pads for whomever presses upon my mind. Sometimes it is a family member. Other times it is a friend, coworker, class mate or even someone on television. I see life happening to us all. I get that gut feeling; the one that gnaws at me and tells me that the person on my mind could use a prayer or divine intervention. And that is enough for me to act. I explain what I know in prayer and ask the Lord to bestow blessings on the individual, or on his or her current circumstance. I used to fold those note prayers and place them in a vase. And you know what, after a while that vase turned into a note book, then the note book turned into, well let’s just say that the rest is right here. Do I still write prayers for others? You bet. I always will. Be there for someone today!
