Pre-K Puppets: Illustrated

This puppet ebook illustrates different ways to create simple but effective puppets. It includes related comments on pedagogical methods, general instructions for materials and application, a materials list, and an illustrated section with eight different kinds of puppets to construct. Within each illustration, pictographs demonstrate several ways to construct or change the puppet. The pictographs are geared for comprehensive compressed understanding and meaning without the need to go through long reading sessions. The skills that puppets help the child to develop and evolve include kinesthetic skills, oral language development, social and emotional development, building connections to the community, and the development of personality. Through the guidance of the parent or educator the child will find learning fun. He or she will explore materials and develop creativity skills.
