Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is a common neurological disorder characterised by the involuntary irresistible urge to move the legs arms, or trunk accompanied by uncomfortable sensations that occur at night or at a time of rest. RLS is an incurable disease and the cause is not yet fully understood.

This book describes the experiences that the author has endured over the past fifteen years as a sufferer of Restless Legs Syndrome. It depicts the very nature of this life changing neurological disease and some personal stories of other RLS sufferers around the globe. The book invites readers to understand more about this disease, how it affects people and the reasons why RLS can diminish a person’s quality of life. It highlights some of the medical therapies, treatments and drugs which are utilised to treat the symptoms of RLS including specialist support services and support contacts around the world.
