This work is indeed a blessing to this generation.
The author directly pinches the reader with the reality of our faulty make-up: our coming into the world through the faulty (sinful) process, and quickly but lucidly shows us the way back into the family of God: Salvation- the only way back. And arising from this, the reader is called forth to rise and ride into his new life in faith. This is imperative, though, as so many people are blindly trudging along in life; merely drifting and without direction. Why is this so? It is because many lack faith or have too little faith. Thus, from this work, we are told in simple language that faith is our ultimate currency. In fact, how far we can go, how well we can live, how long we can walk, and victorious we can be are all determined by how big our faith is.
Indeed, this book is an eye-opener for those who are only contented with just being called Christian, but who are empty, shallow and unskilled in the use of (spiritual) meat, which is the word of God. According to him, these are paperweight, “fat outside but lean and weak in the inside”. For these and others in the faith, we must revel in the revelation provided here before our lives can attain revolution.
The author has been able to successfully pass his message across to the reader in a crystal clear, lucid, unpretentious, and conversational approach that relaxes the reader and engages him deeply, softly hitting home the hard truth embedded in the work.
