The RFID is a great invention for many fields of applications such as anti-fake for groceries and goods, door access key, car key, book burrow and return of library, animal identification, inventory management and luggage or cargo tracking, etc.

RFID will provide a fast and precise method for identification than bar code scanning. However, the cost of RFID tag is more than that of a bar code since the RFID IC is made by semiconductor fabrication for mass production.

The process and manufacturing methods are described for more detailed discussion. And the final cost down of RFID tag is discussed with chipless method using inkjet printing technology. All printed RFID tag is not yet mature technology for mass production due to many reasons is depicted in this book.

Lots of efforts need to be inputted into this field to solve the cost of a RFID tag for the method of mass production.
