Robert Kiyosaki

Understanding the Life and Teachings of Robert Kiyosaki; a Successful Businessman, Motivational Speaker, and a Man Who’s Quest is to Help People Find Freedom

By Dr. Ruth Carr

One of the most difficult things to do in writing a self-help book is to realize that writing the book is not that difficult. The subject matter of the book can be on something such as building shelves to making pillows to how to be a better parent. The requirements of writing one of these books are simple. One must first select the idea, organize his or her thoughts, and then attempt to convey the methods in an interesting way to your target audience. Most people tend to write these books because either an idea hit them suddenly, or this person may be highly skilled at something and want to help others become skilled in that area. Many authors, in fact, write for the love of writing because he or she has a story to tell. Though the reasons for sharing may be slightly different between fiction authors and those who write self-help books, both stem from the desire to share something. Self-help books and how-to books are nearly the same. Both are a way to teach others something new. However, with self-help books, the thing that is taught is often how to change certain behaviors more often than it is how to build something.
