Robin of Tudor Gables is a novella length story about an eight year old boy growing up in the tenements of post WWII Chicago. He is convinced the grownups are crazy, and what he sees going on around him gives him every reason to believe it. Sometimes, at night, the neighbors hear him scream. Sometimes, during the day, they hear him laugh out loud. But they don't know that all the time his family is slowly deteriorating. Robin's father finds refuge in his vices. Robin's mother is trying to maintain her identity. Robin finds refuge in his hideout, the fields at Indian Trails, the movies, and in his steel shell.
Are you Robin's father? Are you Robin's mother? Are you Robin?
