Have you ever sat down with your coffee to enjoy a new book to discover it was too flowery or too hard a read for you? Well this is definitely not that book; this book is full of wee poems written in Scottish slang as the Scots tongue and poetry is close to my heart and would like everyone to enjoy some writings of my home land.
I am sure you will easily understand without a translator, and very easy to read.
The childrens poems mostly have little moral endings to teach simple lessons like being careful crossing the road, keeping your teeth clean and doing as you are asked.
You will enjoy the exploits of many mischievous woodland beasts along with stories of gnomes and elves.
Your children will slip off peacefully to sleep and dream their own magical fantasies.
This book will make you laugh and cry but hopefully most of you will enjoy these easy to read poems.
