32 year old Riley McAllistar is happy to be climbing the corporate ladder working for a global pharmaceutical company in New Jersey. She’s recently divorced, has a hot younger boyfriend, and shares joint custody of her dog with her ex-husband. Life is relatively normal for Riley for the first time in a long time. That is until Riley receives an unexpected call from a scientist within her company who claims the drug she is helping to launch which is supposed to cure inoperable cancer, has killer consequences. When Riley witnesses that scientist’s demise hours later, she realizes she has 30 days to learn the truth before the drug launches in 12 markets around the world. Riley travels from Europe to Africa to South America to investigate. People close to Riley get hurt and those who know the truth continue to die. Though she knows how to use a gun and is trained in mixed martial arts, Riley may not survive the 30 days. As she investigates, Riley has to contend with an evil executive that wants her dead at all costs, a hired killer chasing after her, a detective hot on her trail, an ex-husband who she needs for legal advice, a boyfriend who wants commitment and that the worst possible moment, and a lifelong friend interested in more.
Run is a jam packed action adventure with a splash of romance that prevents the reader from doing anything but reading until the exciting conclusion.
