Fear is in the MInd. Fear it getting out.
Fear not! You Need Not Face this Evil Alone...
Twelve-year-old Billy Bickster and his two street-wise friends hadnt counted on being powerful psychic channelers. They hadn't counted on stopping a modern-day alchemist from unleashing an army of evil, unliving monsters called Shadechasers who are waiting to cross over from the dark dimension either.
Coming from a bad part of inner London, dealing with hordes of terrifying semi-living creatures is all in a days work for the kids that is, until it gets personal. Billy realises that together with his mates they must decipher the messages that the spirits of the dead are trying to communicate to the living from the other side spirits that include the ghost of Billys murdered father.
But this wont be so easy. The channelers aren't sure that the three of them pitted against the Shadechasers a seemingly unstoppable race of Frankenstein-alien-vampire-like paranormal hybrids is a fair fight.
Well, it is if it's a level playing field! The children discover that they can cross over to Shadeworld, a Limbo-like dimension separating the dimension of darkness from that of light. Here, being powerful psychics, the kids can communicate with the assorted ghoulish ghosts and menacing monsters in there with them. They discover that in Shadeworld they possess all the strengths of the living combined with the paranormal powers of the dead.
Will they be able to master these powers in time to confront the assembling forces of darkness before they cross over to this world?...
