Shadows & Light is a collection of poems I've written and worked on for years. It contains poems inspired by the best and worst moments of my life. I chose the title because over the years I've learned there is a little bit of light even in the depths of sadness. As humans beings we are meant to learn from our mistakes and find the silver lining on even our darkest days. I truly believe that poetry was that lining for me. As the first form of writing I ever dedicated my time to poetry will always have a special place in my heart. Enjoy.
