The jungle has a new sovereign! Sheena, Queen of the Jungle! Born in the Congo, the orphaned daughter of a white explorer, Sheena was adopted by a female Abama shaman named N'bid Ela, who raised her to be the next Wise-Woman of the Abamas. Sheena's abilities soon outshown those of all of the young men in archery and the spear, while on foot she was swifter and more agile than any male. She developed a rapport with many wild creatures, spoke fluent Swahili, could read the jungle drums and became a familiar sight to many tribes in the region. Her jungle friends were a chimpanzee named Chim, a powerful, black-maned lion named Sabor and a great elephant named Tamba.
