«Silvaplana Blue» is a historical story. It starts with a psycho-thriller. I was dreaming of a boy, I once had loved. That was a long time ago. I dreamed every night. These dreams where disturbing and puzzling. I decided to write him, but then I got curios. What has become of him? I started to search in internet. There I found his death announcement. When he died, he came to me in my dreams. I was shocked. At that moment, everything came back to me, the summer in Silvaplana, Gian and my fears and uncertainty. Why did I leave the boy, I loved? I was going in resurge of my life. In this resurge, I found the history of my parents and of my family. With the history of my family, I discover the history of Germany during the 20th century. Yet, it was more than that, because in regarding my past I discovered my soul. In this process, I found the human soul, its failures, arrogance and horrors. The way into my past was actually a way into the human soul.

I wrote this story in three books: The first book is “Auch ich war einst in Arkadien…” This is the story of Silvaplana and Gian, but also the end of my youth.
