This book is meant for children ages 6 through 12, but may be enjoyed by early teens as well. The story is both inspirational and spiritual, though it does not proselytize. The purpose of the story is to encourage young people who are facing peer pressure and discouraging life-experiences.

Bryson is just an ordinary caterpillar.. But he has been plagued by an unspoken desire for something different for so long, he can't remember when he began feeling that way. He meets Tommy the Ant who takes to Bryson right from the start. They become very good friends and for the first time, Bryson finally believes there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. He faces a dilema that could bring him to his end, or his beginning. The choice he faces will determine his outcome for good or bad.

While this is my second book to be published, it was actually written first. A dear friend was keeping me up to date on her grandson, Bryson. A weight problem and his father’s troubled past were causing issues in school and at home. We had prayed many times for Bryson, his classmates, and his father. Having him on my heart inspired this story. I wrote this for Bryson in the hope that he would be encouraged and look to the Lord in his time of need. I can only hope that it had the desired effect on his life; and now, that it might again touch others who are struggling with common troubles.
