I am a recent Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing degree recipient from Chicago State University, home of the world renowned Gwendolyn Brooks Writing Center and host of the annual Gwendolyn Brooks Writers Conference. I consider myself to be primarily a fiction and prose writer but have recently been afforded the opportunity to be published in 95 Notes Literary Magazine for poetry and Sage Publishings Encyclopedia of Identity for an article on the phenomena of Passing. I currently reside in Chicago, IL with the love of my life and my daily fountain of inspiration.
