Somewhere Beneath: A War of Rain Novel

Seventeen year-old Alan has a special ability that allows him to create anything from his imagination, and bring his very thoughts into reality. One day, he wakes up to find himself alone in the underwater metropolis where he lives, called Terra-Mar. Everyone he’s ever known is gone, and he has no idea where they are. Instead of going out to sea to search for them, he decides to fulfill his lifelong dream of ascending to the surface to see the blue sky. Before he can do this, he unexpectedly discovers five young boys who hid themselves during a raid on the metropolis which took place while he was asleep. The boys determinedly persuade Alan to search for the lost Terra-Marans, citing that it was his duty to do so. Giving into the boys, he embarks with them on a journey, never knowing that he is about to uncover the ugly truth about his ability.
