Spirit Afire!

Prudence MacLeod wakes in the hospital to find herself naked in binding sheets. She rises, dresses, and steps out of her room to experience a world she does not share anymore with her family, hospital staff, or friends. She is a spirit, and lost in a life-after-death existence where most "go to the light" upon leaving their bodies behind. With the help of a local shaman, Karen, she explores her world within the world of the living. Why is she still here? She believes it is to seek vengeance for her murder. The murderer? Her drug addicted, heavy metal, overly tattooed and pierced, psychopathic brother who is making designs on her younger sister. Follow Prudence as she strives to come to grips with her death caused by an overdose of a potent sedative, her continued existence, and her relationships with friends and family, to achieve her ultimate goal of being able to pass on to a higher existence.
