A year has passed since Reniko defeated Trokar, the leader of the Rük. A madness has descended on the Rük that survived the aftermath of the severed link between them and their leader. As Reniko tries to find her place on Vespen as leader, she also tries to find a way to cure the Rük of the madness that she has brought upon them. As the people of Vespen call for xenocide against their once oppressors, Reniko races against time to decide whether xenocide is the answer or if there is a way to reverse the madness that plagues the Rük.
Back on Earth, a young man named Riumi has dreams of another place and time. His life on Earth seems foreign to him and he delves deep into history to try and find out if the memories he has are real. As his search attracts the eye of the UNG, he must find the answers he seeks before the Earth authorities locate him.
