Many times, we all are confounded by the resident and persistent negative emotions, urges, habits, weaknesses, propensities, and desires; burning in our mind, thought and body, messing up our lives and our world.

Sometimes they rage as fiendish, insatiable urges, and other times they come as “mild” or “gentle” prods–hate, unforgiveness, seething anger, sex and its various inappropriate and perverted forms, alcoholism, smoking, sadism, rebellion, bloodshed, vanity, pride, lying, greed, dishonesty, pilfering, stealing, presumption, lasciviousness, covetousness, self-centeredness, resentment, envy, jealousy, ingratitude, cowardice, haughtiness, sensuality, mischief, obscenity, superiority complex, inferiority complex, racism, prejudice, idolatry and the likes of these.

Our world is in turmoil today because of this human condition.
