Starlight Lagoon

If you like romantic drama and playful banter, this love story is for you. When Paul Kalani meets Heather Fields at college, everything goes well until the misunderstandings start. Destined to take over his father’s corporation, Paul is an intense young man, who keeps his feelings inside. Heather is a shy, studious young woman that fears Paul will hurt her. Their relationship comes to a crashing halt when Heather is coerced into going on a blind date with her roommate and doesn’t get home until dawn. Believing that she has been unfaithful, Paul is too furious to listen to Heather’s explanation. He flies home to Hawaii, leaving her with no way to contact him.
Six years later, Heather graduates with a PhD in oceanography. In order to find Paul and finally force him to listen to her explanation about what happened on that fatal night, she takes a position with a major corporation on the island of Kauai. Her employer provides her with a comfortable bungalow on the beach at beautiful, secluded Starlight Lagoon. Her job there is to document the condition of the reef for preservation purposes.
Under strange circumstances, Heather does get to see Paul, but he still refuses to hear the explanation she has wanted to give him for so long. However, he does agree to be her tour guide. As Paul shows her the breath-taking sights on Kauai, their tumultuous relationship bounces between love and distrust, laughter and tears. If they do not forgive one other, they will never find out if the legend of Starlight Lagoon is true.
