Ex-FBI agent Ally Riley's life was in chaos. She lost the job she loved, her mother was in jail for attempted murder and her sister was on the run for an actual murder, but she couldn't be bothered with any of those things because they all brought her what she had been searching for her entire adult life, her sister Tessa. With Tessa came a complication she didn't need though, a complication in the form of Tess's brother-in-law, tall, handsome, built like a god, with the most intense blue eyes that penetrated her soul and followed her every move. Ally could have said no and insist he went to the police but something in his voice had her jumping on a plane from New York to L.A. within twenty-four hours.
Having her under the same roof with him for an extended period was the opportunity Gabriel needed to redeem himself with her and even though she was there for a purpose he was not above playing dirty to prove to her they belonged together.
Redemption came easily as did capturing a stalker but their new relationship soon became complicated by a cherry cheesecake craving, hormonally charged, pregnant sister, bombs, kidnapping and an enemy from Ally's past whose main purpose was killing the people Ally loved most.
