Do we take our lifestyles for granted? The restaurants, stores, and technology that make our lives easier. Or that we can get our hot water or adjust a room’s temperature with the turn of a knob. What about turning on a light with the flip of a switch and refrigerating our food? And if we want to go somewhere, that we can get in our car or take a plane.

And what of those that lived before us? Did they too take their lifestyle for granted? They were used to heating their water, building their fires, making their clothing, growing their food, and riding their horses to go somewhere.
