Strides and Struggle is produced to reach the finish line, in the relay, which brings poetry to the masses. It is a medley of joy, hardship, and pains, which do, not only exist but also continue to rule our lives. The simplicity of the messages in this book reflects an attempt to reach all walks of life. The experiences revealed give life and hope particularly to the unprivileged, the oppressed and the innocent. I was born and raised in a rural environment where knowledge was the test to survival. The political, economic and social components of that survival equally designed the fate of the new generation.
