The incidence of stroke increases with age and with the increase in the life expectancy, the older people will contribute to a large portion of those afflicted with stroke. Stroke and Stroke related disorders in the Elderly begins with a historical review of stroke and its management followed by an overview of the anatomy and functions of the brain.
