Succeeding in Marriage After the Wedding

If you are driving on a road still under construction, you will likely see signs like “Men at Work, Slow Down,” Construction Site, Diversion Ahead, etc. These signs are there on the road to caution you and guide you while you drive on the road. On April 14th, 1912, one of the greatest disasters of our time occurred. This was the night the ship called Titanic got sunk in the ocean and one thousand five hundred people – men, women, and children were swallowed in the ocean. Why? Because some people refused to take note of the danger signals that were right before them. Signals were sent by other ships to ships that were yet to get to the danger spot. They were warned of the iceberg ahead of them in the ocean. But the crew in the Titanic ship refused to heed the warnings. They kept cruising at full speed and eventually they hit the big iceberg. And this unsinkable and luxurious ship they claimed that even God could not sink, eventually sank into the sea on its maiden voyage.
What am I trying to buttress here? Before you get into a marital relationship, there are so many danger signs to watch out for. Many couples work down the aisle, neglecting these danger signs they were forewarned about. They insisted on getting married even when the red flags are glaring to all, the end-result is a lifetime of sorrow and pain in a bitter and painful marriage.
