Sweet Land of Mine

Ruth's story from "Sweet Farm of Mine" continues. As her father Arlan's distraction with the lively widow and neighbor Gretta continues, Ruth finds plenty of challenge in managing their farm on her own and teaching. But Gretta is like a breath of fresh air, making Ruth aware of changes she needs to make. Moua and Sting, Hmong from the neighboring community of Clear Water, want to become farmers, and Ruth and Arlan help them integrate into the small farming community of Rush River. Detailed scenes of farming life are portrayed, including a country picnic, and Farm Technology Days.
