No one knows when Syeribus, first started taking humans. Some say that perhaps it could be as far back as the beginning of man. There have been references speaking of this evil told and retold for centuries around campfires, or spoken by those who claim to have seen them hiding in the shadows of the night.

 For Carol stories, were all they were; for her they were just attempts at trying to strike fear into the hearts of the other children who had come to join her Weaver's Club. No one paid attention to the warnings issued by some of the current club members. It was assumed the dark circles under their eyes, the pale skin, the frantic desperate looks on their faces were all for show. The things they spoke of were chalked up to be caused by no more than the over active imaginations of the children attending the club meetings.
