Two months ago, pre-med student Chris Malone had been happy with her life as a nineteen-year-old tomboy. She kept her hair short, never wore skirts, never wore makeup, never wore anything pink, and absolutely never wore the "little pink panties" she was teased about as a child. Being obliged by chance one day to wear a pair of pink undies seems to have turned her life upside down, leading her to explore her feminine side in more ways than one.
Now she wears skirts exclusively, often shows a lot of skin, and has had her hair styled and permed to make it look more feminine. She wears makeup every day. She goes by "Chrissy" now.
She shares a house with two men and another woman, but when the woman moves out and a man moves in, the atmosphere of the house changes. As the sole woman, she feels even more strongly the desire to be feminine, to present herself to her roommates as "the kind of girl men like". She spends so much time cleaning up after the guys, she is offered the job of being their housekeeper, and at the 21st birthday party of one of the guys, she serves as hostess in a skimpy "French maid" costume.
By the end of the story, she had had sex with all three of her roommates and is considering making *that* a formal arrangement, also. She also makes a profound career decision which will affect her life well beyond her college days.
