This is the first of two volumes that deal with the role of Jungian Psychology within the Social and the Political spheres.
The volumes are the product of the second conference on Analysis and Activism: Social and Political Contributions of Jungian Psychology, that was held in Rome in December 2016, and is the cutting edge testimony of the active theoretical and practical interest of the Jungians (also) outside their consulting rooms.
In a world whose changes are as fast as they are dramatic, and in which there seems to be no sign of much of a social, historical improvement of the human condition, the scope of Analytical psychology may prove to be a fundamental tool to contribute to the most relevant issues that are at stake today in the world's social and political scene.
This work will be a fundamental companion not only for psychologists, analysts and psychotherapists, but also for everyone involved in the global Polis.
