Two families, each with a single child. Both with backgrounds and family histories. A young woman and a young man; both very similar in education and life choices. Time had come, and their meeting happened as was set many years ago. Once their eyes met, they became aware of a powerful attraction that superseded anything they had ever experienced. They approached their parents and asked for an explanation. The parents agreed to meet with them and address their concerns. As they were talking, a bang came from the main door. After opening it, the young man found a very threatening note. This was a direct result of one of the parents planning to purchase a very large piece of property in Tennessee. They drug lord didn't want to share. They found someone within the family to help them find out who was behind this and help the families stay safe; and protect their businesses. As the families are in the midst of this crisis, more friends and acquaintances enter as unknown family members. They can only survive if they stay together. In order to do this; they must move to a safer location and live in anonymity. Once they find a place that feels so much like home, they are told many things about their history and start experiencing things so shocking they can barely except them. Yet throughout these experiences Lorna is strong and understands now what there future holds. If you enjoy this book, read the others in the Cottonwood series. Start with Book 1. Book 4 will be available in March of 2016.
