This is a book of flash fiction written by Creative Writing student Kazel Wood. It features six stories. Most of the stories in this book have a dark tone, where the others are lighter or slightly comedic. The first story is "The Cold Wind," which is about a boy dealing with depression. It has a slightly poetic tone to it as it takes you through his journeys. Then we have the story "Comets." which is a story about two siblings discussing what space is like and how they might go there. The third story is "The Fume of Doom," which is a story about a well established man dealing with some unforeseen problems at a party. We then go into a story named "Resurface." The story shows a man's obsession and how he deals with others to fulfill his obsession. Then we reach a dark story named "So Many Questions," in which a baby tries to decipher whats happening around him. The last story is named "The Race," where a young man faces his rival in a street race. These various stories have different perspectives and different voices.
