The Colors of Howell

After the death of an unarmed civilian at the hands of law enforcement authorities, anger is felt throughout a small community. Caught in the crossfire between balancing the color of his skin or his brothers in blue, the once astute cop becomes torn. In his attempt to remain steadfast to his duties as a police officer, the rookie cop's will for justice begins to crack. Burned and stigmatized by his community, Damien Howell begins to regret his decision to join the force shortly before he is executed by an unknown assailant. As details of his brutal and untimely death are made public, his countrymen have no choice but to mourn a forgotten son. The Colors of Howell challenges the all too familiar anti-police rhetoric common in today's society.
