The Confederate Cavalryman's Saber

Twilly Reynolds’s father, a Confederate cavalryman, died at the Battle of Murfreesboro. A year later at Battle of Chickamauga, she is General Bragg’s clandestine spymaster. A neophyte kitsune — Japanese fox-witch — Twilly is learning to use her ability to shape change and to see ghosts to ferret out the Union Army’s plans. With the help of her former slave girl, the ghost of a Louisiana corporal, and a charming soldier with a knack for impersonating officers, she plots her revenge on the Union general who has claimed her father’s saber.
