Raised by her father-the Hon. Mr Warton, a strict disciplinarian, Lucille soon learns the price for disobedience. With the assistance of Lucille's teacher, Miss Birch, Mr Warton is liberal and exacting with his stinging punishments. Believing Lucille beyond hope of becoming a compliant lady worthy of marrying off, Mr Warton ships her off to a convent school.

Lucille's situation does not improve, and she soon finds the Mother Superior to be as ruthless in her chastising as her father was. Thus she plots her escape, but not before a considerably amount of naughtiness, eventually finding her way to Lord Dunwich, a gallant gentleman who whisks her to safety and into the arms of of her betrothed.

Marriage is not kind to Lucille upon become the wife of Earl Francis Ellington, and it is not long before she throws herself at Lord Dunwich, a man who loves her as much as she does he. But what lascivious intent will transpire when the Earl finds out?

Written by the pseudonymous Rosa Coote, of Miss Coote's Confessions, in 1876, Locus Elm Press is proud to present this glorious little-seen work of Victorian Erotica, salvaged from a limited print run from 1876, and presented herein in it's original libidinous splendour.
