Book Description:

“MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, AS THE SAYING GOES. But contrary to this belief, successful entrepreneurs have always contributed to society from time immemorial either by money or in kind. My friends have suggested that I should put my experiences down in writing. To do so, there must be a purpose and an audience. Hopefully, the few snippets of my experiences will encourage prospective aspirants, young or old, who are motivated to play this real-life game of ‘snake and ladders’ which can be created by themselves.” CHAN CHIN CHEUNG

About the author:

CHAN CHIN CHEUNG was educated at the Convent of Jesus & Mary, Mussoorie, India; Methodist Boys’ School, Kuala Lumpur; Christ’s College, Cambridge University; and Guy’s Hospital, London. He completed his housemanship at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital and joined the United States Walter Reed Army Medical Center Unit in Kuala Lumpur. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he began business life as a planter in his family’s rubber plantation in the 1960s. One thing led to another, and he is now busy working on his memoir. He is the author of Paper Currencies of the Straits Settlements, Malaya, British North Borneo, Sarawak and Brunei.
